Net Systems partners with Vision Australia
Net Systems Informatics and Vision Australia link their dynamic accessibility partnership to provide accessible solutions to small community organizations.
Mumbai, 12th September 2006 - Net Systems Informatics (India) Pvt. Ltd and Vision Australia have announced their strategic partnership - an initiative to assist small community organizations to attain the websites accessibility standards.
The assessment is based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 simulating the issues faced by users with disabilities. The assessment kit includes: user, manual, and technical testing. User testing is conducted by people with disabilities using various assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, and alternate input device. Manual and technical testing is conducted by able-bodied evaluators.
Scenario based testing of the pages by people with disabilities using assistive technologies is recommended to check for additional user related accessibility issues. This service for small community organisations includes expert advice on techniques for rectifying accessibility issues as an integral component.
"As the two organisations employing people with disabilities, we have unique insights into what works from a practical perspective when advising our customers about accessibility issues", says Shilpi Kedia, CEO N-Syst.
